Micropayments startup Gumroad wants to help people sell anything they create, without having to set up their own store or use an existing commerce marketplace. Anyone can sell digital things like unreleased music, a blog post, well-written poems, exclusive videos, their best photos, app invites, class study guides, unpublished lyrics, source code. Or physical things like music albums or T-shirts.
The process is very simple: you just choose the product you want to sell and attach a price, a description and an image. You get a unique webpage that you can share with your fans or potential customers via Twitter, Facebook, or any other channel.
